My daughter and I had the absolute best experience traveling through Japan and Korea with Nicole and her son Jake. I have done a lot of traveling in foreign countries and have never experienced a more complicated city to maneuver around than Japan. Every country I have booked, by number of components. All 26 of them.
Cruise or land
People assume a travel advisor mostly sells cruises. Mine is the other way round.
Roughly one booking in four is a cruise. The rest is land, which means hotels, guides, transfers, rail and the small operators who actually run the day. Japan is the surprise in the country list. It is my second most booked country after the United States, and the one I get asked about most.

None of that is about finding a hotel. Anyone can find a hotel. It is about somebody being reachable and paying attention, which is most of what you are actually buying.
