Greece & Turkey

Rhapsody of the Seas cruise ship exterior

Island hopping without packing twice

18 to 25 June 2027 · Rhapsody of the Seas · 7 nights round trip from Athens

Santorini’s white walls over the caldera, an afternoon in Mykonos, Ephesus inland from Kusadasi, Bodrum on the Turkish coast, then Chania on Crete before one full sea day with nothing on the schedule at all.

This is our own family’s sailing too, not one I am only hosting from a desk. We board in Athens the same week as you.

Where you go

Whitewashed buildings and blue domed church overlooking the caldera in Santorini, Greece

The ports are set: Mykonos, then Ephesus in Turkey, then Istanbul, a sea day, Santorini, and a second sea day back into Piraeus. Seven nights round trip on Rhapsody of the Seas. Athens is worth a full day on either end if you want the Acropolis before or after you sail.

What it costs

Rhapsody of the Seas Superior Ocean View stateroom living area

From $900 per person, cruise only. Flights are not included.

Three cabin types are open. An interior room keeps this trip at its lowest price, and on a seven night itinerary with this many port days you are barely in the room anyway. An ocean view gets you natural light. A balcony is where most families land once they compare the difference for a week this short.

Cruise fares move, and I would rather quote you today’s number than one that is already stale. Tell me your group and I will send back the real price.

No planning fee on this one either. You are booking a cabin next to ours, not a custom itinerary.

Who this suits

Families who want a real taste of the Greek islands and Turkey without the logistics of changing hotels every two days. It is also a forgiving first cruise, low price of entry, short sailing, easy ports.

One sea day means one day with nothing required of you at all. Bring a book.

How to come with us

Space is limited and a deposit is what holds a cabin, so the sooner you tell me the better the choice you get.

Tell me how many of you there are, which cabin type you are thinking about and which airport you would fly from, and I will come back with your number and the deposit link.

See the full itinerary and reserve here, or reply to any email I have sent you and just say Greece.
