Two of the best, easiest things to do with kids in Antalya are right in the city.
Kaleiçi is the old town, a maze of Roman and Ottoman lanes tumbling down to a horseshoe harbor full of wooden boats. Walk through Hadrian’s Gate, a triumphal arch nearly two thousand years old, and let the kids get lost in the good way before a boat ride from the harbor.
The Düden Waterfalls are a rare thing, a river that pours straight off a cliff into the Mediterranean, best seen from a boat that noses right up to the spray. There is an upper falls in a shady park too, with paths that go behind the water. A cool, easy morning the kids love.
