India’s Golden Triangle, Delhi to Agra to Jaipur, is the classic first trip to India, and it works beautifully with kids when you pace it right.
Delhi is the front door, a thousand years of empires with the Red Fort and a rickshaw ride through the old city. Agra is the Taj Mahal at sunrise, the one wonder that lives up to every photo, plus a red fort and a ghost city. Jaipur is the colorful finish, forts, a mirror palace, giant sundials and bazaars full of puppets.
Link them with a car and a driver, keep calm hotels with pools, and do one big sight a day. It is far more manageable than its reputation, and it is the trip kids come home talking about.
