Orlando is the most popular family destination in the country, and it can also be the most overwhelming to plan, so here is my honest advice as a travel advisor and a mom.
First, the heat and the timing. Summer in Orlando is brutally hot and humid with near daily afternoon thunderstorms, and it is peak crowds too. If your schedule allows, the cooler, less crowded windows in fall and late winter make a world of difference with kids. Whenever you go, plan for midday breaks. Even the biggest theme park fans need a pool afternoon to recover.
Second, this is a place where planning really pays off. The parks are complex, expensive, and constantly changing their reservation and ticketing systems, and a wrong move costs you time and money you cannot get back. Getting the order of days, the ticket types, and the where to stay right is the difference between a great trip and a meltdown.
That is exactly what I do. I take the guesswork out of an Orlando trip, match your family to the right resorts and parks, and handle the moving pieces so you can just enjoy it. It costs you nothing extra to plan it with me.
